Configure Team Permissions
The article explains how to set up granular access controls for team members using the team permissions feature, available exclusively in the Enterprise plan.
Overview
The feature allows account administrators to "easily configure what level of permissions each different user role in your team has access to." The account owner automatically receives full administrator access, while invited members receive permissions based on their assigned roles.
Controllable Permission Categories
Chat Access:
- Initiating new conversations
- Reading existing chats
- Replying to messages
Group Chat Access:
- Viewing group discussions
- Participating in group conversations
Chat Actions:
- Resolving chats
- Reassigning chat ownership
- Removing conversations
- Blocking contacts
Message Capabilities:
- Sharing visual media
- Sending audio files
- Transmitting location data
- Forwarding contact information
Contacts Management:
- Creating new entries
- Accessing contact details
- Modifying information
- Managing phone number visibility
WhatsApp Number Configuration:
- Session management (QR connection, disconnection, restart)

Role Hierarchy
"Each role can edit the Team Permissions of the subordinate role," creating a chain: Owner > Admins > Supervisors > Agents.

- Access number Settings and select Permissions
